Allan Saint-Maximin signs six-month deal with RC Lens

RC Lens announced on Monday evening that 28-year-old winger Allan Saint-Maximin has signed on a six-month deal after leaving Club América.

The Ligue 1 runners-ups behind PSG unveiled his arrival with a tongue-in-cheek video on their social channels, nodding to Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote.

He had been under contract with Club América until Saturday, then terminated after his children were subjected to racist abuse at school.

The move marks his return to Ligue 1, six and a half years after leaving OGC Nice for Newcastle.

A Saint-Étienne academy graduate, he also represented Bastia and Monaco before heading to England, Saudi Arabia with Al-Ahli in 2023-2025, and Türkiye with Fenerbahçe in 2024-2025. He will wear number nine for the Sang et Or.
