He follows in the footsteps of Elliot Anderson, Jeremy Monga, Gerónimo Rulli and Ayyoub Bouaddi in linking up with Enzo Maresca’s first team squad.

It’s a new era at the Etihad Stadium with Italian Maresca starting brilliantly courtesy of victories over AFC Bournemouth and Crystal Palace.

FPL managers will be looking to shuffle their pack ahead of Matchweek Three – with City hosting Coventry – and Allan is now an option having been assigned a transfer price.

The 22-year-old is available at £6.0m as he looks to make his mark in the Premier League.

As for the other new recruits this season – Monga is £5.0m, Anderson is £6.4m, Rulli is £5.0m while Bouaddi is £5.5m.

Erling Haaland is the highest valued player in the game’s history with his price set at £15.5m!

In FPL, you start with a budget of £100 million to select a squad of 15 players: two goalkeepers, five defenders, five midfielders, and three forwards. You can only pick three players per club – meaning only three of your favourite Blues in your selection.

Each week, you choose a starting 11 as well as a captain, whose points are doubled, and a vice-captain, who take the armband if the captain doesn’t play.

Your players score points in categories such as goals, assists and clean sheets.

There are also four special booster chips you can play throughout the season – Wildcard, Free Hit, Bench Boost and Triple Captain.

The aim is to score as many points as possible across the season as you compete in leagues against other managers.
