After two consecutive home matches, the Rossoneri are back on the road, though still in Lombardy. The early Sunday kick off for Serie A Matchday 27 is Cremonese v AC Milan, before which Coach Allegri held a press conference at Milanello, broadcast live on Milan TV and the AC Milan Official App.
MARCH IS HERE "We're coming into this in pretty good shape, the season is decided at this stage. From now until the end of May, the race toward the Serie A title and the Champions League spots begins. Inter are doing excellent things and have collected a lot of points. We have 54, which is what we deserve: we need to think match by match to get the maximum possible, and on 25 May we'll see where we stand. We hope that Atalanta, Bologna, Roma, and Fiorentina go as far as possible to create the opportunity for fifth place in the Champions League, because it would also be good for our football overall. Tomorrow a 12-match campaign begins; we have a points advantage over our pursuers and we need to increase it".
AFTER AC MILAN V PARMA “After six months without a loss, a setback is normal, but from Wednesday we trained really well. Unfortunately, it happened, and now we need to get back to walking and running. It will be a difficult match: Cremonese has excellent qualities to stay in Serie A and has achieved important results. We haven't won in Cremona since 1993; the unbeaten AC Milan of Capello drew here. The suspensions? The most important match is tomorrow; after the final whistle, we'll see who will be available for the derby".

REFEREES AND RULES "In the past few hours, new rules have been confirmed, which is a positive sign because it moves us toward the goal of improving things. VAR on call? There are pros and cons; it's a solution that needs to be studied. In general, as a team, we need to focus on the pitch; one incident shouldn't decide a match. We shouldn't use a goal, a penalty, a foul, or a non-foul as an excuse; that's the wrong approach. We need to be able to handle the unexpected; there are plenty of those in a game. They shouldn't shake us; our focus must remain on the match".
INDIVIDUALS "Gabbia is out; he still has inflammation that needs to be managed. Loftus-Cheek and Gimenez will also be missing. The good news is that Santiago has finished his pre-athletic work and could start training with the team again this week. His recovery is going well; he's in good condition. Rabiot and Jashari? Two players with completely different characteristics. Ardon is very good at building play; in the last two months he has grown like Athekame, De Winter, and Odogu. Everyone has progressed, whether they arrived in the summer or were already here. Jashari can play as a mezzala; even against Parma he came on and did very well. It's normal that he makes fewer forward runs than Rabiot, but he has been an excellent signing".
ATTACKING CHOICES "More than the chemistry, the point is that the four forwards are in good shape. I don't know who will play; in the last half hour, we'll need whoever comes off the bench. Pulisic will definitely score again; the important thing is that everyone is fit. He has grown physically, is much calmer, and has a lot more confidence in himself".
THE FUTURE "There is complete harmony with the club; we talk and compare notes. The important thing is that we all work for the good of AC Milan. I'm very happy to be back here after so many years and to have found a wonderful group of fantastic players. The club is planning the future of AC Milan, and to do that, we need to achieve the most important result, which is to return to the Champions League. We'll see if we can manage to stay there or take one last step forward. The future? In my career, I've spent many years at Juventus and many at AC Milan. A coach is always closely linked to results, but here it's possible to build an important path. The club has a project: to return to playing in the Champions League and then aim to compete to win it".
