Almugera Kabar joins NEC Nijmegen on loan

Kabar joined Borussia Dortmund’s youth academy in 2019 at the age of 13 and has since progressed through all of the club’s youth teams. He was promoted to the first team for the 2024/25 season and made his Bundesliga debut in October 2024. In the summer of 2026, the 20-year-old won the Premier League International Cup.

All in all, the left-back, who is still under contract until 2028, has made six Bundesliga appearances, 14 appearances in the 3. Liga and 21 matches in the Regionalliga West (seven goals). During his time at BVB, the German youth international won the U17 World Cup and European Championship.
