Spanish national team head coach Luis de la Fuente has moved to reveal his appreciation for the talents possessed by Barcelona starlet Marc Casadó.
This comes fresh off the 21-year-old’s full international debut.
Spain saw out their endeavours for the November break last night, in a Nations League meeting with Switzerland.
And, en route to an eventual 3-2 triumph, the aforementioned Casadó was made use of from the off, at the base of La Roja’s midfield.
The youngster went on to shine in his role, carrying forth what has been nothing short of an exceptional opening to the campaign on the books of Barcelona.
Neat and tidy in possession, and industrious as ever out of it, Casadó proved on Monday why he could yet go on to have a thoroughly productive career on the international front.
And one individual who could not help but be impressed by the display put forth by the Blaugrana man was headmaster Luis de la Fuente.
Speaking to the media on the back of the full-time whistle in Tenerife, Spain’s boss was full of praise for Casadó, explaining:
“Casadó played a game and a half with us. He plays like an experienced player. I can’t stop being amazed by the confidence, calmness, and control he plays with.”
