América visit Philadelphia Union on Tuesday in the Concacaf Champions Cup round of 16 first leg, and will be without several players.
According to Americayya.net, América will be without Víctor Dávila, Dagoberto Espinoza and Isaías Violante. André Jardine has also confirmed Henry Martín is not yet ready to return, so he will miss this match despite travelling.
Dávila is sidelined for the rest of the year after a ligament rupture. Espinoza has recovered from the same injury and is a few weeks from returning. Violante is expected to be out until at least mid April.
América arrive off a positive result against Querétaro, a mixed display that nevertheless helped restore some confidence after a difficult spell in this tournament. With away goals the primary tiebreaker, scoring could be vital.
Union are not in sparkling form either. After thrashing Defence Force 12-0 in the opening round, they have suffered three straight defeats to start the MLS season.
Both sides may fall short of their best, which could make the tie closer than expected.
