América Femenil have 14 players called up for the current women’s FIFA window. According to Americayya.net, the club are represented by Mexico’s senior and Under-23 squads, plus Brazil and Venezuela.

The selections follow a recent outing against Rayadas in which several players struggled, yet the squad’s depth is reflected in these call-ups. Owing to the break, América’s next match is in two weeks when they host Pachuca at Estadio Azteca.

Mexico named six América players to the senior team, Jana Gutiérrez, Scarlett Camberos, Nancy Antonio, Celeste Espino, Montse Saldivar and Kim Rodríguez.

Four were selected by the Under-23s, Sofía Ramos, Xcaret Pineda, Aylin Aviléz and Giana Riley.

Brazil summoned Isa Haas, Geyse Ferreira and Priscila da Silva, while Venezuela called up Gabriela García.

There might have been more, as Itzel Velasco is usually involved but has only just returned from injury, and Karol Bernal, previously a regular, is currently sidelined.
