América Femenil have secured their first addition for the Clausura 2026 Femenil, moving to strengthen at centre-back.

According to Americayya.net, Isa Haas is set to join from Cruzeiro after accepting the club’s terms and is due to travel to Mexico in the coming days to sign, with just under three weeks remaining before the tournament begins.

Haas was named the best centre-back in Brazilian football in 2025.

Her arrival is viewed as a major boost and she could become a leader at the back, potentially alongside Kim Rodríguez or Karina Rodríguez.

The window opened with the departures of Nicki Hernández, Annie Karich and Jordan Brewster, through a contract expiry and loan conclusions. In central defence the squad currently includes Annia Mejía, Marissa García, Kim Rodríguez, Karina Rodríguez and Okeke Chidinma, though Okeke could depart.
