América v Chivas in United States, kick-off and how to watch | OneFootball

América face Chivas in a United States friendly, as the club continue using these games to build rhythm for the Apertura 2026 run-in.

According to Americayya.net, América arrive after a 0-0 draw with Cruz Azul in another friendly that delivered notable takeaways. It featured debuts for Santiago Mingo and Santiago Bueno, a starting berth for Franco Rossano, and the return of Luis Ángel Malagón.

It is clear the defensive pairing of Santiago Bueno and Santiago Mingo will be first choice in the coming matches. They looked a touch short of rhythm, but both have everything to form an excellent pairing.

Franco Rossano finally saw minutes, with previous selections often pushing Kevin Álvarez and Dagoberto Espinoza to fill the left side instead. Rossano showed a good level in this run-out.

Another boost was Luis Ángel Malagón’s first start in seven months. He performed well, making several important saves to preserve the clean sheet.

Against Chivas, Almada may adjust a few pieces. The aim remains for the reinforcements to continue gaining minutes and reach peak level for the final stretch of the Apertura 2026.

The match is on Sunday four October at the Alameda County Coliseum at 07:00pm Central Mexico time, and it will be shown on TUDN and VIX Premium.
