Nottingham Forest’s loanees, many of them centre-backs, are spread across Europe and already serving up a mix of goals, minutes and frustration.

Nottingham Post reports that the club sent out several players this term, and here is how they are faring.

Dilane Bakwa has played every game since rejoining Lille, scoring on debut against champions PSG. He has one start and three cameos in Ligue 1, a Champions League run-out at Real Betis, and helped Tiago Santos in a 2-0 win over Troyes.

Eric da Silva Moreira has featured in every match for Excelsior, starting four. They are seventh with three wins and two draws from seven, and he has stressed his work-rate.

Tyler Bindon has started every Charlton game, but was replaced at half-time in the 3-1 loss to Cardiff after a shaky spell. He did assist Tyreece Campbell to pull it back to 2-1.

Omari Hutchinson joined AC Milan on loan with an option under Ruben Amorim. He debuted from the start in the Europa League against Benfica, taken off at the break at 2-0 down, then had a 13-minute cameo v Lazio and was unused v Lecce.

Zach Abbott is yet to play for Southampton, on the bench for the last four league games after praise on arrival for his character.

Morato has broken into West Ham at left-back. After late cameos v Derby and Bolton he started the 6-0 win over Wrexham, crossing for Jarrod Bowen’s opener, then scored in a 3-2 Carabao Cup defeat to Fulham and completed 90 minutes at Millwall.
