Amount Vasco will invest in training ground revealed

Vasco has taken another significant step in its structural modernization project. The club will have a budget of R$ 30 million allocated for the construction of the Moacyr Barbosa Training Center, located in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro. The amount will be applied in stages, according to the progress of the construction.

One of the main challenges at the moment involves the basic sanitation of the region. The necessary piping needs to pass through the CT land due to the neighboring real estate development, which requires constant dialogue between the City Hall, the Federal Savings Bank, and the club.

In a conversation with the reporters, a Vasco director highlighted the complexity of the situation:

– The biggest current challenge is for the City Hall to pass the basic sanitation through the CT land for the development that is being born next door. The definition of the budget reinforces Vasco's commitment to accelerate the construction process of the CT, which is considered strategic for the future of Cruzmaltino football. The board understands that the modern structure will be fundamental to improve training conditions, attract athletes, and consolidate the club at a more competitive level on the national scene.

With the bureaucratic obstacles still in progress, the expectation is that the works will progress gradually, ensuring the consolidation of the Moacyr Barbosa CT as one of the main achievements of the current administration.
