Leeds United faced off against Liverpool at Anfield earlier tonight as they focused on securing a good result at home in the Premier League. The Whites made a solid start to the game and managed to get to the half-time break with a 0-0 scoreline.
The Yorkshire club controlled the game well in the second half and managed to secure a hard-fought 0-0 draw at Anfield.
Let’s take a look at how each Leeds United player fared during the clash against the Reds.
Perri made a few solid saves at the back and did enough to keep a clean sheet.
CB: Sebastiaan Bornauw – 7/10
He performed his defensive duties well and was a strong presence in the air.
CB: Jaka Bijol – 7/10
Bijol put his foot through the ball when he could and did enough to limit the opposition from scoring tonight.
CB: Pascal Struijk – 7/10
He made a lot of important clearances inside his half and was good on the ball.

RM: James Justin – 7/10
Justin performed his defensive duties well, but lacked quality in the opponent’s half.
CM: Ilia Gruev – 7/10
He anchored the midfield well and made some decent runs with the ball.
CM: Ethan Ampadu – 7/10
Ampadu offered decent protection for his teammates at the back but lacked quality going forward.
CM: Anton Stach – 6.5/10
He came back to defend when he could and made one good chance in the final third.
LM: Gabriel Gudmundsson – 7/10
Gudmundsson was defensively solid and made a couple of impressive runs with the ball.
ST: Brenden Aaronson – 6/10
He worked hard but failed to threaten the Liverpool goal. Aaronson was replaced in the 69th minute.
ST: Lukas Nmecha – 6/10
Nmecha was quiet for most of his time on the pitch and never looked like he would score.
ST: Noah Okafor – 6/10
He failed to influence the game after coming on as a substitute.
