FC Bayern is currently working on signing two players, namely Ismael Saibari and Nathaniel Brown. Now there is good news for the record champions.
It was already reported on Wednesday that negotiations for Nathaniel Brown are in the final stages. The overall package that FC Bayern is offering Eintracht Frankfurt is already acceptable; it’s just the breakdown that hasn’t been finalized yet.
Now there has also been significant progress in the case of Saibari. This is reported by Santi Aouna of Foot Mercato.
According to the report, a move for the versatile midfielder is likely imminent. The fact that a contract has already been negotiated with the player is nothing new. Saibari is set to commit to FC Bayern until 2031.
But progress has also been made on the transfer fee. According to reports, Bayern is currently offering around 45 million euros as a fixed transfer fee and an additional five million euros in bonus payments. That is not quite enough for PSV, which is determined to secure 50 million euros or a sum just above that.

So there are just a few final details to iron out, and FC Bayern needs to bump up its current offer a bit, then the deal can go through. The medical exam would take place in the U.S. anyway, where Saibari is currently with the Moroccan national team preparing for the World Cup.
Munich has already factored this in; a team of medical professionals is essentially standing by to conduct the exam should an agreement be reached.
Saibari can play in several positions on the offensive end, but is primarily expected to be deployed in the center, where he can take on multiple roles. Vincent Kompany is said to be a fan of the player; he has spoken with him personally and encouraged him to make the move to Munich.
