Corinthians midfielder Ana Vitória underwent tests after Friday’s clash with Ferroviária and no fracture was found. According to Meu Timao, people close to the player indicated she should be available soon.

Corinthians return on Monday 20 to face Ferroviária again in a single-leg Copa do Brasil last 16 tie at Fonte Luminosa in Araraquara.

The incident came early in the first half, with her right shin bleeding after 10 minutes when Maressa lifted her foot too high and caught her. Ana Vitória received on-field treatment, was taken off on a stretcher and was replaced by Vic Albuquerque.

After the win, head coach Emily Lima struck a calm note, saying she has cover in midfield and has already worked on alternatives if the player is not available. She noted they used around 20 to 25 days of the inter-season period to test different options, adding that a positive medical update would help but the focus must remain on the game.

Signed this season for a second spell at Parque São Jorge, Ana Vitória has been a starter under Lucas Piccinato and Emily Lima. She has 13 appearances for Corinthians in 2026 and one goal.
