Anatoliy Trubin reflected on Benfica’s response as they recorded their first clean sheet of 2026, drawing a line under a testing few weeks.

At the end of 2025 they drew 2-2 away at Sp. Braga. This year began with a 3-1 home win over Estoril, then came a 3-1 defeat to Braga in the Allianz Cup semi-final and 0-1 away at FC Porto. The player said in a post that after difficult moments it was a team effort and a step forward, adding that they would continue to build.
