Carlo Ancelotti has named a 26-man Brazil squad for the next FIFA window, with Flamengo pair Pedro and Samuel Lino included.
According to Coluna Do Fla, the goalkeepers are Hugo Souza, Pedro Morisco and Otávio. Defenders are Arthur Dias, Douglas Santos, Gabriel Magalhães, Jair, Marquinhos, Matheuzinho, Mauro Júnior, Vitor Reis and Wesley.
Midfielders are Andrey Santos, Breno Bidon, Bruno Guimarães, Danilo, Doulas Luiz and Gabriel Bontempo. Forwards are Endrick, Estevão, João Pedro, Pedro, Raphinha, Rayan, Samuel Lino and Vinicius Júnior.
Pedro and Samuel Lino were the only Flamengo names on Ancelotti’s pre-list. Léo Pereira, Alex Sandro, Danilo and Lucas Paquetá, who played at the 2026 World Cup, were left out.
The first FIFA window of the 2030 World Cup cycle runs from 21 September to six October. Brazil face Australia on 25 September at Queensland Country Bank in Townsville, then again on 29 September at Estádio Suncorp in Brisbane.
They then meet India for the first time on three October at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan, also known as Estádio Salt Lake, in Calcutá.
Brazil’s domestic calendar will pause throughout the window. Flamengo have no fixtures from 20 September to eight October, so Pedro and Samuel Lino will miss training but not official matches.
Before the break, Leonardo Jardim’s side visit Independiente del Valle on Thursday 10 at 21:30 Brasília time at Estádio Olímpico Atahualpa, the first leg of the Libertadores quarter-finals.
