Anderson Daronco to referee Corinthians v Palmeiras derby in Brasileirão | OneFootball

The Brazilian Football Confederation has appointed Anderson Daronco to referee the Corinthians v Palmeiras derby in round 30 of the Brasileirão, scheduled for Sunday 11 October at 17:30 at Nubank Parque.

According to Meu Timao, the assistants will be Alex Ang Ribeiro and Fabrini Bevilaqua Costa, with Arthur Gomes Rabelo as fourth official and Rodolpho Toski Marques on VAR.

It will be Daronco’s 50th Corinthians match. Under him, the club have 21 wins, 12 draws and 16 defeats, a 55.10% points return.

In 2026 he has handled three Corinthians fixtures in the league, which brought two losses and one win. The most recent was on 23 August, a 2-1 defeat to Coritiba at Estádio Couto Pereira.

He has overseen seven derbies between the clubs, with Corinthians recording three wins, three defeats and one draw.

Corinthians won in 2017, then again in 2018, the 2019 meeting ended 1-1, Palmeiras won 3-0 in 2022 and 2-0 in 2024, there was a 0-0 draw in 2023, and in 2025 Corinthians won 2-0 at Allianz Parque in the Copa do Brasil last 16 second leg, later lifting the trophy after overcoming Cruzeiro and Vasco.

Before facing Palmeiras, Corinthians visit Internacional on Wednesday 7 October at 19:30 at Beira Rio in round 29, with Felipe Fernandes de Lima to referee.

The fixture offers Fernando Diniz’s side a chance to halt a run of six league defeats and claim a first win in almost two months. They are 14th on 32 points, three ahead of Grêmio, who sit in the relegation zone.
