The forward has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City, and he has a £65million release clause in his contract at the Vitality Stadium, which needs to be triggered by January 10.

Sky Sports reported on Tuesday that Semenyo was booked in for a medical at City on Thursday, the day after the Spurs clash.

There were previous concerns that the Ghanaian would not play against either Chelsea or Arsenal, but he featured in both of those games.

Now, Iraola has said that the Spurs game could be Semenyo’s last on the Dorset coast.

"I think it could be the last game,” he said.

“That is my personal opinion, but there is nothing agreed and nothing signed.

"It is my personal opinion as I understand the market and the noise but there is nothing agreed right now.

"He right now is our player and I hope it continues."

"I don't know what’s going to happen tomorrow or the next two, three days, but I’ve asked before coming here just to tell me, otherwise I will look foolish there talking about Antoine and then [he leaves]. That’s the situation at this moment of the day."

Semenyo has scored nine goals in 20 games in all competitions this term, adding three assists.

It follows 11 in 37 Premier League games last season, and eight in 32 the season before.

Iraola said that the winger is "almost impossible to replace".
