André Onana could leave Manchester United on a permanent deal this summer with the Cameroonian linked with a return to former club Internazionale.
The shot-stopper is currently on loan at Trabzonspor after having featured only once for United this season – the shock League Cup exit to Grimsby Town back in August.
United had previously signed Onana from Inter for a fee believed to be worth £43.8 million. However, high-profile blunders meant that United instead turned to current number one Senne Lammens at the end of the transfer window.
According to Chris Wheeler of Daily Mail Sport, the player's representatives are currently in Italy to work out a potential deal that would see the 29-year-old leave the club on a permanent basis – a move that is likely best for all parties.
Onana played 41 times for Inter in his only season with the club, lifting the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italia.
