According to Glorioso 1904, Corinthians midfielder André is close to being confirmed by a major Portuguese club in a deal worth about €15m guaranteed plus €3m in add-ons, with his future seemingly almost decided.

The identity of the club remains unclear and there is no official announcement yet. An agreement with the player is understood to be in place, with only final formalities between the two clubs pending.

This comes after Benfica were identified as the main suitor. The player's representative, Diogo Silva, said Benfica tabled a concrete €12m offer plus €3m in bonuses, which Corinthians rejected.

The agent said Corinthians turned it down immediately and did not set a price or make a counter-offer.

The 19-year-old is preparing for a move to European football. In 2026 he has made 29 appearances for Corinthians, eight in the Campeonato Paulista, 14 in the Brasileirão, one in the Supercopa do Brasil, one in the Copa do Brasil and five in the Libertadores, totalling 2,102 minutes and five goals. He is valued at €16m.
