André Villas-Boas awarded Porto’s city medal on Wednesday

André Villas-Boas, president of FC Porto, and Carla Oliveira, an athlete for the club and for Portugal, a boccia medalist, will be honored with the Medal of Merit of the city of Porto on Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m., in a ceremony scheduled for the D. Maria Hall, at City Hall.

The distinction had already been awarded previously, but the two were unable to attend the ceremony held on July 9, which also paid tribute, posthumously, to Jorge Costa and José Manuel Matos Fernandes, as well as António Tavares, president of the General Assembly Board of the Dragons.
