Andreas Pereira could claim his first trophy with Palmeiras on Sunday 8, when they face Grêmio Novorizontino in the Campeonato Paulista final in Novo Horizonte.

In 2026 he has seven goal contributions, two goals and five assists, directly involved in 26% of Palmeiras' 27 goals this season.

His arrival also revived memories of 2021, when as a Flamengo player he made an error in the Copa Libertadores final against Palmeiras.

In extra time he slipped while trying to control the ball, allowing Deyverson to score the 2-1 winner.

Even so, he impressed for Flamengo in 2021-22 while on loan from Manchester United, playing 53 matches with eight goals and three assists, before moving to Fulham.

Unveiled by Palmeiras in September 2025 after signing in August 2025, he said that episode was behind him and that he aimed to build a new story and win many titles at the club.

Since then he has become a regular under Abel Ferreira, totalling 33 appearances, four goals and six assists, usually operating as the second or third midfielder.
