Vasco will be without Andrés Gomez for the Botafogo clássico on seven October, the first game after the FIFA window, following his third yellow card against Coritiba on Saturday.
According to Globo.com, the forward was booked for removing his shirt while celebrating Vasco’s fourth goal.

He has been called up by Colombia and probably would not have been able to feature in the derby for logistical reasons.
Colombia face Peru in a friendly in Miami, United States, on six October, less than 24 hours before the Botafogo match.
As a result, Gomez will return to the Brasileirão with his yellow-card tally reset.
