Andressa Alves has begun her physical transition, edging closer to a return for Corinthians as they prepare to face Internacional in the final round of the Brasileirão Feminino on Saturday.
After a day off, the squad resumed work on Thursday at CT Joaquim Grava. According to Meu Timao, the session started in the gym, then moved to the pitch for a warm-up and drills on defensive and attacking organisation. The match kicks off at 18:00 at Fazendinha.
The midfielder had been in the medical department since the start of the month with an injury to the back of her left leg. She began the transition on Thursday.
Goalkeeper Rillary has rejoined group training after completing her own transition period. She had been out since the end of July following an elbow injection.
With Rillary integrated and Andressa progressing, Emily Lima now has a lighter medical room. After Internacional, Corinthians face Taubaté on Wednesday, then move into the knockout stages of the Brasileirão and the Campeonato Paulista.
