Corinthians have midfielder Andressa Alves back for the Brasileirão Feminino quarter-final first leg against Cruzeiro. Meu Timao understands that she has returned to full training and featured among the starters in a session this week.

She travelled to Belo Horizonte with the squad and is available for selection. The midfielder had been sidelined since the start of the month with a left hamstring problem, missing the last five matches.

Her recovery stepped up on 20 August when she began the physical transition, then progressed to rejoin team sessions. Before the setback she was a regular starter, with 20 appearances in 2026, four goals and eight assists, joint-most alongside Gabi Zanotti and Belén Aquino.

Corinthians could still be without Ana Vitória, who missed the last Paulistão round due to abdominal muscle pain and is doubtful for the opener. Coach Emily Lima also has Paola García for the role, she travelled and is in the squad.

The sides meet at 19:15 on Monday at Arena Independência in Belo Horizonte. The return is next Monday, 7 September, with Corinthians hosting, stadium to be confirmed.
