Brentford head coach Keith Andrews has ruled Nathan Collins and Mathias Jensen out of the next three matches before the international break.
The pair will miss Saturday's trip to Bournemouth, Tuesday's Carabao Cup tie at Reading, and Friday night's west London derby against Chelsea at the Gtech.
Collins came off with a calf strain during the 1-1 draw with Sunderland, replaced by debutant Jannik Schuster in the 17th minute. He had felt the problem earlier in the game and tried to play on.
Sepp Van Den Berg is still recovering from a groin strain sustained over the summer.
Jensen started the 3-0 win over Tottenham on the opening weekend but has missed the last two league games, including the 1-1 draw with Leeds, after a muscle strain in training.
Andrews said Jensen is progressing and that they will assess him next week. Josh Dasilva is out with a hamstring injury from a B Team game last week, and Antoni Milambo is nearing a return after last year's ACL injury.
