Santos have loaned forward Andrey to São Caetano for the Copa Paulista. He will contest the play-in finals against Primavera and could gain minutes if the team progress.

According to Diario Do Peixe, he began the year on loan at Confiança-SE, scoring two in 20 appearances, but has not featured since June. The club released him to explore a move abroad, however talks did not advance.

His Confiança-SE outings comprised four in Série C, four in the Copa do Nordeste, one goal in two in the Copa do Brasil and one goal in 10 in the Sergipano.

Since that release he had been training apart at CT Rei Pelé with players outside the plans, including Zé Rafael.

Born in Santos, Andrey, 24, started at Sumaré AC, then Ponte Preta, and joined Santos in 2017.

A winger through the age groups, he also filled in at right-back during the team’s Copinha runners-up campaign in 2022. After ageing out, he was loaned to Ituano and XV de Piracicaba in 2023.

In 2024 he had spells with Juventus da Mooca and Inter de Limeira, then impressed on his return in the Brasileiro de Aspirantes, scoring three in seven. His Santos contract runs until the end of the year.
