Premier League sides have long tracked Victor Osimhen without sealing a deal, with Andy Cole pointing to multiple factors behind the stalemate. According to Goal.com, the former Manchester United striker believes the Nigeria forward would suit England but says transfers hinge on more than fees and wages.

After Wolfsburg and a breakthrough loan at Charleroi, Osimhen impressed for Lille in 2019-20 before a big move to Napoli. He lifted the Serie A title and hit 31 goals in 2023-23.
