Angelino’s future remains uncertain.

The Spanish full-back endured a nightmare season, hampered by physical issues that prevented him from playing for almost the entire season.

The 1997-born full-back started the first five Serie A games before disappearing from the radar. Angelino finished the season with just 426 minutes, two yellow cards, and no contribution to Roma’s offensive efforts.

Angelino, after a season of stardom under Ranieri, was forced to retire due to physical issues that prevented him from being available to Gasperini, who was unable to invest in him.

As reported by Gianluigi Longari of Sportitalia, Roma recently had contact with Real Betis regarding the 1997-born player.

The Spanish club considers the Giallorossi winger as an option for the next transfer campaign.

Angelino arrived in the capital in 2024 for just €5.4 million. Given his last season, it remains to be seen whether the Roman club will be able to make a capital gain, which is within reach.
