Angers will host league leaders PSG on Saturday with seven players out injured, leaving the defence stripped for the Ligue 1 match at Stade Raymond-Kopa at 19:00 on matchday 31.
According to L'Équipe, coach Alexandre Dujeux said on Thursday that, barring a very good surprise, he did not expect to recover any of the injured this weekend, noting the absentee list has grown in recent days.
Defender Ousmane Camara has a tendon issue and was withdrawn at half-time at Le Havre in the 1-1 draw last Saturday. Marius Louër finished that match but has a thigh problem. Right-back Carlens Arcus remains out with a pubis injury.
Midfielders Yassin Belkhdim, with a fractured arm, and Marius Courcoul, knee, are sidelined, as is forward Harouna Djibirin with an ankle problem. Reserve goalkeeper Oumar Pona is also injured with the second team in N3.
Dujeux will have to reshuffle again, with the back line particularly hard hit. Veteran Abdoulaye Bamba, 35, should be handed only his second start of the season from four appearances.
