Anis Ben Slimane and Jose Cordoba have reacted to the news of Norwich City teammate Mohamed Toure's injury
Norwich City have encountered a major setback to their chances of launching a late play-off bid at the business end of the Championship season.
The Canaries were flying under Philippe Clement before their 2-1 defeat against Birmingham City, and they bounced back from their loss to Blues with a 2-0 triumph over already-relegated Sheffield Wednesday in midweek.
However, in terms of the play-off race, time is running out for the Carrow Road outfit, who sit 12 points below the top six ahead of their clash with Leicester City on Saturday.
Norwich will be delighted by the impact that Clement has made since replacing Liam Manning, though, as their former boss left them in danger of being relegated to League One.

Josh Sargent is set to join Toronto, and his absence in recent weeks has left the Canaries reliant on fellow strikers Jovon Makama and Mohamed Toure.
Makama has proven his worth at Championship level this term since joining from League One side Lincoln City last summer, notching 10 goals in 28 second-tier appearances.
Meanwhile, Toure has been a class act for Norwich since moving to Carrow Road from Danish club Randers in the winter transfer window, and scored a hat-trick in a 3-0 victory over Oxford United this month.
However, as reported by the Pink Un, the 21-year-old is set to be sidelined for four to six weeks after sustaining a groin injury during the win over Sheffield Wednesday.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Toure wrote: "Absolutely gutted. A minor setback, just know I’ll be back stronger & better."
Canaries teammate Anis Ben Slimane commented with a praying hands emoji and a red heart emoji, while Jose Cordoba said: "Vamos hermano! Fast recovery." The post also attracted a like from Liverpool star Hugo Ekitike.

Makama and Toure's form suggests that Norwich will cope well without Sargent, but fellow forward Mathias Kvistgaarden has not thrived for the Canaries this term.
The 23-year-old has been given a lack of starts since moving to Norfolk from Danish club Brondby last summer, and has not appeared on the scoresheet as regularly as he would have liked.
However, he already reaped the personal benefits of Toure's injury in midweek, when he came on as a substitute for the former Lincoln man and scored in the victory over Wednesday.
Furthermore, as reported by BBC Sport earlier this month, Makama's foot injury means that he could miss the rest of the season, which leaves Kvistgaarden as Clement's likely striker option.
The Denmark international will be relishing the opportunity of leading the line in upcoming fixtures, such as the Canaries' upcoming FA Cup fifth round trip to Daniel Farke's Leeds United next month.
Kvistgaarden's recent goal against Wednesday was his first strike since he scored in a 5-0 triumph over West Bromwich Albion on 20 January, while the injuries to both Makama and Toure mean that he will hope to feature on the scoresheet more regularly in the coming weeks.
