Another Barcelona star’s departure is expected to be finalised today | OneFootball

The transfer team at La Liga giants Barcelona are expected to close a final agreement for a departure from the club’s first-team ranks at some point on Saturday.

That’s according to transfer insider Matteo Moretto, who points towards Vitor Roque as the player in question.

Frontman Roque, for his part, has of course seen his name dominate the headlines in Catalunya’s capital across the week to date.

This comes after word was forthcoming that, at last, a new home had been found for the out-of-favour January arrival.

Roque is primed to take his talents to Barca’s La Liga rivals Real Betis, on loan, for the duration of the 2024/25 campaign.

And, if the latest word stemming from the media on Saturday is anything to go by, as much could yet be made official before the day is out.

As per the aforementioned Matteo Moretto:

‘All the details of Vitor Roque’s loan to Betis are expected to be finalised today. The parties have been working on the final documentation and are now at the end of the negotiations.’
