Another notification to Companies House has been picked up by Paul Quinn, who has described yet another new share issue as a capital injection of of a £14.175M into Everton FC that took place last month:
On 3 September 2026, Everton Football Club confirmed a new capital raise amounting to £14.175M, with 81,000 new shares issued to the club’s majority shareholders Roundhouse Capital Holdings Ltd, at a price of £175 a share. The shares were issued on 13 August 2026.
This most recent share issue brings the total capital injection into Everton by Roundhouse to over £400M.
Total shares in issue now stand at 2,580,889 of which 7,969 remain in the hands of minority shareholders.
The timing of this capital injection, coming shortly after a similar capital injection of £13.8M that took place in July, and a couple of weeks ahead of transfer deadline day, suggests it was to directly bolster Everton's transfer kitty in advance of player transactions that could have seen a net outlay of around £20M if the deal to sign Foalrin Balogun from AS Monaco had gone smoothly.
TFG have continued to invest capital in Everton FC via Roundhouse Capital since their takeover of the club was announced in December 2024:
The total new cash injection is since the takeover was completed but does not include the initial £450M paid for the first tranche of Everton shares, which converted Farhard Moshiri's shareholder loans into equity.
