Manchester United players ending lengthy droughts is becoming a bit of a habit.
Last weekend it was Joshua Zirkzee hitting the Premier League goal trail for the first time in a year as Ruben Amorim's side pulled off a comeback at Crystal Palace.
Fast-forward four days and Diogo Dalot also ended a long-awaited spell without a top flight goal to put the Old Trafford club ahead against West Ham on Thursday.
The Portuguese utility man found himself in the right place at the right time to control Casemiro's ball into the box and drill home in front of the Stretford End.
It was Dalot's first Premier League goal since May 2024, by which point he had only plundered three for United and none of them at the Theatre of Dreams itself.
Unfortunately his effort will not go down as a fondly remembered one due to the Hammers snatching a point through Soungoutou Magassa's late equaliser. This one will be more fondly remembered and potentially perfectly timed!
