Real Madrid star Antonio Rüdiger has his sights set firmly on a move to the Saudi Pro League down the road.
That’s according to Relevo, who have on Tuesday provided an insight into the current mindset of the German international.
Rüdiger is of course widely considered to be arguably Real Madrid’s most important defender, with his brilliant exploits at the back last season having proven crucial to the club’s eventual domestic and European double.
Making the 31-year-old’s presence an even more integral one is the fact that Los Blancos are currently badly short of options at the heart of defence.
A favourite amongst both his teammates and Real’s fanbase, too, it will in turn no doubt mark a source of concern to hear that Rüdiger is already looking towards a likely future departure from Spain’s capital.
As per a report from Relevo:
‘Rüdiger is attracted by Saudi Arabia. The Real Madrid defender is looking forward to finishing his career in Saudi Arabia, and it is part of his future plans.’
Rüdiger’s current terms at the Santiago Bernabéu are due to expire in the summer of 2026, at which point the former Chelsea man is giving real consideration to taking his talents to the Middle East.
