A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid will play no part in his country’s upcoming round of fixtures.
That’s according to Marca, amongst others, who point towards Brahim Díaz as the player in question.
Brahim was for his part afforded a call-up to Morocco’s most recent squad, ahead of an upcoming pair of friendly meetings with Tunisia and Benin.
The expectation, in turn, was that the former AC Milan man would go on to play a central role for Walid Regragui’s side.
As alluded to above, however, if the latest word stemming from the media on Friday is anything to go by, then this will in fact not be the case.
As per Marca, after Brahim was forced into a premature departure from Real Madrid’s final outing of the season against Real Sociedad owing to a fitness concern, the 25-year-old won’t be risked by Morocco.
Evidently not yet entirely recovered, Brahim is eager to be back fully fit and firing in time for the upcoming Club World Cup, at which he will be hopeful of making a positive impression on new manager Xabi Alonso.
