Ansah undergoes Hull medical as record-breaking move nears

1. FC Union Berlin have agreed to sell Ilyas Ansah to Hull City in a deal worth €21 million, with €17 million to be paid upfront, according to Kicker.

Ansah wasn't involved in Union Berlin's training session on Wednesday, as he was travelling to England to undergo a medical ahead of the move.

If everything goes according to plan, Ansah will become Union's record sale, surpassing Taiwo Awoniyi, who was sold to Nottingham Forest for €20 million in 2022.

Union paid €4 million to sign Ansah from SC Paderborn last summer, and he went on to score five goals and provide three assists in 37 appearances during his first season at the capital club.
