Ansu Fati has launched his music career with debut single "Sea como sea", out on 19 June 2026 via The Orchard (Sony Music), after signing with Music Brokers. The La Masia graduate, currently on loan at AS Monaco, becomes the first footballer to emerge from FC Barcelona to develop his own music career.

According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, the release places Fati within a growing trend of athletes turning to music, alongside Pinto Wahin, Memphis Depay and Neymar.

His connection with music began during knee rehabilitation in 2020, when songwriting became a personal outlet that later turned professional. In 2025, while at AS Monaco, he worked regularly in Nice with producer Gambinoalaprod, with Paul Pogba also taking part in sessions.

The label presents him less as a footballer who sings and more as an artist whose musical side has developed organically over time.

"Sea como sea" runs two minutes and 15 seconds, blending Afrobeats, reggaeton and Amapiano. An alternative cut titled "Sea Como Sea (Amapiano Version)" will also appear.

Set against a career of early breakthrough, injuries and the search for continuity, this move is framed as personal reconstruction and a long-term artistic project rather than a one-off.
