According to L'Équipe, a 3-4-2-1 highlights Ligue 1 players set to be free on 30 June, led by Anthony Lopes, Malang Sarr, Nabil Bentaleb and Allan Saint-Maximin.
In goal, Anthony Lopes could not keep Nantes up after a December 2024 arrival, yet his reflexes and experience stand out. Right centre-back Aïssa Mandi logged 29 games and a goal for LOSC.
Malang Sarr anchored Lens, making 39 appearances and winning the Coupe de France final against Nice 3-1, but missed the 2026 World Cup. Left centre-back Gauthier Lloris delivered 29 games and a headed equaliser in a 1-1 draw with Nantes on 8 November 2025.
Wing-backs: Krépin Diatta leaves Monaco after an injury-hit term, 18 games and one assist, while Darlin Yongwa departs Lorient after 23 Ligue 1 outings. In midfield, Nabil Bentaleb steered Lille with 37 matches, two goals and two assists, alongside Lorient’s Arthur Avom Ebong, who added 31 games, two goals and one assist, plus a fine half-volley at Lille in March’s 1-1 draw.
Sofiane Boufal reignited at Le Havre with 17 games, four assists and a goal to help secure safety. Allan Saint-Maximin arrived from Club América in winter and produced four goals and three assists in 13 outings for Lens, slotting into Pierre Sage’s collective.
Striker Bamba Dieng was revived by Olivier Pantaloni after a loan at Angers, ending with 10 goals across the last 18 league rounds for Lorient. He will want to shine against France at the World Cup to attract suitors.
