Antoine Griezmann is in Boston and will be in the stands at Foxborough on Thursday for France’s World Cup quarter-final against Morocco, alongside his seven-year-old son, Amaro. According to L'Équipe, the former France forward has travelled to support the team while in the United States.

Griezmann, 35, capped 137 times, had said he would use his visit to support France and has kept his word.

Now an Orlando player, he resumed training in late June and has taken advantage of a day off to attend his first match of the tournament.

He is also due in Dallas for the semi-finals.

It is unlikely he will be at the stadium there, as his club play a friendly the following day.
