Despite rumors linking him to Orlando City in MLS, Antoine Griezmann has confirmed he will remain at Atlético Madrid. “I’m very happy here and enjoying myself a lot,” he told Movistar.
On Tuesday night, Griezmann scored once and provided two assists during Atlético’s emphatic 5-2 win over Tottenham in the Champions League round of 16. With 211 goals and 97 assists in 485 games for the club, he remains a key figure in the squad.
At 34, his ambitions are crystal clear: reach the Champions League final and capture the Copa del Rey, with Atlético set to face Real Sociedad in the final on April 18.
