Anton Stach: I think we have a really good team | OneFootball

Leeds United face Tottenham Hotspur at Elland Road this weekend, in a lunchtime kick-off between the two sides which is being show live on TNT Sports (12:30).

Both teams come into this encounter having drawn last time out, each taking a point from their respective home clashes against AFC Bournemouth and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Having played the full 90 minutes last weekend, Anton Stach has been speaking exclusively speaking to Premier League Productions prior to taking on Spurs.

“I think we prepare well every week,” the German international stated, discussing training in the build up to the clash.

“We have, of course, meetings on how they play, what is the plan, and then we have our own plan and we try to bring the plan on the pitch.

“Of course, with all the basics like we did in the last games with winning the duels, intensity, pressing, taking the atmosphere with us.

“Our home, the fans, I think that's an important point to make it very stressful for them to play against us.

“I think we have a really good team. You know, the team spirit is really good. Everybody in the team is honest to each other, speaks to everybody and is very positive.”

After scoring his first goal for the Whites with a stunning free-kick in the win against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Anton was then asked about taking set-plays.

“I took some corners and free kicks when I came here, and it was quite good,” he answered.

“And before, at my old clubs and in the youth, I also took free kicks or corner kicks so they tried it out.

“I think I did some good ones, of course some not so good ones! But I try to improve every time.”
