Very late on Thursday, negotiations were reportedly finalised for Antonio Briseño and to officially return to Chivas to replace the outgoing Jair Pereira.
“El Pollo” Briseño arrives from CD Feirense of Liga NOS in Portugal after two years of having played there.
Briseño will arrive on a free transfer and will earn approximately 1.2 million dollars per year.
Feirense were relegated this season in which Briseño played every single minute this season, where he also contributed two goals on the offensive end.
The 25-year-old came up through the Atlas youth system and will be extremely happy to go back to his native Guadalajara.
Briseño has also featured for Tigres, FC Juarez, and Veracruz.
