Antonio Sivera has extended his Deportivo Alavés contract until 2030, securing four more seasons after 10 years at the club.

The club said in a statement that the goalkeeper, formerly of Valencia, will continue at Mendizorrotza.

Quique Sánchez Flores’s side have started the league well, beating Getafe on the opening weekend then drawing 1-1 with Rayo Vallecano in the second round.

Across his time in Vitoria, Sivera has made 179 appearances for Alavés.

He began as understudy to Pacheco before establishing himself in the starting XI.

Now club captain, the Jávea-born 30-year-old has earned his renewal through consistency and key interventions.
