Manchester United entertained Bayern Munich at Old Trafford earlier tonight as they looked to secure a victory in the UEFA Champions League. The Red Devils made a solid start to the game and managed to get to the half-time break with a 0-0 scoreline.
Kingsley Coman gave Bayern the lead in the 70th minute as Man United crashed to a tough 1-0 loss in front of their home fans.
Let’s take a look at how each Manchester United player performed during the clash against Bayern Munich.
GK: Andre Onana – 6/10
Onana made a couple of solid saves during the game but failed to secure a clean sheet.
RB: Diogo Dalot – 6.5/10
He performed his defensive duties well and made some good runs with the ball on the right flank.
CB: Harry Maguire – 6.5/10
Maguire cleared the danger well in the first half but had to be replaced in the 39th minute.
CB: Raphael Varane – 6.5/10
He didn’t do much wrong at the back and did enough to restrict the opposition to just one goal.

LB: Luke Shaw – 6.5/10
Shaw earned possession back twice but offered very little in the final third.
CM: Scott McTominay – 6/10
He caught the eye at times but put in a lackluster display at the centre of the park.
CM: Sofyan Amrabat – 6.5/10
Amrabat offered decent protection for his teammates at the back but lacked quality on the ball.
RW: Antony – 6.5/10
He came back to defend when he could but failed to threaten the Bayern goal.
CAM: Bruno Fernandes – 6.5/10
Fernandes caught the eye at times but failed to make a difference in the final third.
LW: Alejandro Garnacho – 6.5/10
He earned possession back twice and made one positive run with the ball.
ST: Rasmus Hojlund – 6/10
Hojlund made one decent run in the final third but never looked like he would find the back of the net.
Substitutes:
CB: Jonny Evans – 6/10
Evans made two important defensive contributions.
RB: Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 6.5/10
He performed his defensive duties well.
CAM: Hannibal Mejbri – 6/10
He struggled to get into the flow of the game.
RW: Facundo Pellistri – 6/10
Pellistri failed to register a goal.
