Antwerp keen on bringing in former Sevilla midfielder on a free | OneFootball

HNB are reporting that Antwerp are keen to add experienced former Sevilla midfielder Nemanja Gudelj on a free transfer. The 34-year-old Serbian international left Sevilla after a number of years at the Spanish club. Gudelj would provide some much needed experience in the Antwerp squad which has seen a number of its veteran players leave at the end of their contracts this past summer.

Gudelj left Sevilla after playing 262 games for the La Liga side, winning the Europa League twice. Prior to playing for Sevilla, the Serbian international spent time in the Netherlands, China and Portugal. After starting out at NAC Breda, he went on to play for both AZ Alkmaar and Ajax. In 2017 he joined Tianjin Jinmen Tiger in China, with a spell at Guangzhou the following season. In the summer of 2018 he joined Sporting in Portugal on loan, winning the Portuguese cup. After his loan expired he signed for Sevilla on a free transfer in the summer of 2019.
