After the restart, half time substitute Shea Charles levelled with a glancing header from Léo Scienza's nod following a corner (57.).

Archer settled it (90.), steering in Caspar Jander's cross moments after coming on.

The Saints carried the greater threat, tallying 16 attempts and 12 corners with 56.1% possession. Swansea mustered 10 attempts and four corners but were pinned back for long spells.

Next up, Swansea visit Queens Park Rangers. The Saints host Bristol City.
