Arda Güler sends message to new Real Madrid teammate | OneFootball

Real Madrid star Arda Güler has taken to social media this weekend, to send a message of encouragement the way of new teammate Carlos Espí. This comes after the latter opened his account in the colours of Los Blancos.

José Mourinho’s troops were back in action on Saturday, making the trip to Budapest for a friendly meeting with Hungarian outfit Ferencvárosi.

When all was said and done, Real emerged on the right side of a 2-1 result. And the aforementioned Espí proved himself a star performer on the evening.

Introduced off the bench for the 2nd-half, the 21-year-old – fresh off linking up with Mourinho’s men from La Liga rivals Levante – wasted little time in making his mark. Slipped in courtesy of a perfect pull-back on the part of Federico Valverde, Espí made no mistake in picking out the bottom corner with a confident strike.

Fresh off a breakout campaign in 2025/26, the young striker will be hopeful that this proves to be a sign of things to come for his Real Madrid stint.

And as alluded to above, confident that this will indeed prove to be the case is Arda Güler. Taking to Instagram in the aftermath of yesterday’s fixture, midfielder Arda tagged Espí in a post, accompanied by the caption:
