Sheffield United have reportedly discovered the fee they would need to pay if they want to bring Harry Souttar back to Bramall Lane this summer.

According to The Star, Leicester City have placed a £10 million price tag on the towering centre-back as they prepare for a major rebuild following a disastrous second successive relegation. The Foxes are expected to oversee significant changes to their squad, with several players likely to depart as they look to reshape their team ahead of life in League One.

Championship Clubs Queuing Up For Harry Souttar

The Blades are understood to be among the leading contenders for Souttar’s signature, alongside Championship rivals Stoke City, West Ham United and Wrexham. Despite already generating funds this summer through the sale of Andre Brooks to Norwich City, in a deal reportedly worth an initial £8 million and potentially rising to £9 million with add-ons, there remains widespread uncertainty over whether United are in a position to commit such a sizeable fee for a single player.

While the Brooks sale has boosted the club’s transfer budget, many supporters remain sceptical that Sheffield United would be willing, or even able, to match Leicester’s asking price without further player departures.

Midfielder Sydie Peck continues to attract strong interest, with West Ham United among the clubs reportedly monitoring the highly-rated youngster.
