Afeez Aremu is set to join Aberdeen on a permanent deal after completing his medical, Sky Germany reports.

A full agreement has been reached between Kaiserslautern and the Scottish club. The 26-year-old is moving for €150,000, and Lutz Pfannenstiel was crucial in getting the transfer over the line.

Kaiserslautern are also set to send Jan Elvedi to SpVgg Greuther Fürth on loan, subject to a medical today.

If the checks are completed, the deal would run to the end of the season with no option to buy.

Elvedi, 29, has featured for only 466 minutes this season, having been kept out of the side by Fabian Kunze and Maxwell Gyamfi.
